Fall Return FAQs
When/How do I book my Fall HardTop return?
What's the earliest I can get my HardTop back?
We officially begin returning HardTops the last week of August, but can make accomodations if you need it back sooner.
What's the latest I can get my HardTop back?
We finish up our return season the week after Thanksgiving.
Keep in mind, if you prefer your SoftTop, we can store your HardTop indefinitely.
How will the final payment work?
If you haven’t met the three month storage minimum, the remaining difference will be charge.
If you’re having us store your SoftTop, the monthly charge will just be adjusted to $49/month.
If for whatever reason we cannot return your HardTop during your preferred week, billing will stop to reflect your selection.
What if my address has changed?
Included in your booking link is a notes section. This is where you should enter all important information that could be useful to our team (address changes, scheduling restrictions, etc.)
Do I need to be on-site for return?
No – you do not need to be on-site.
Our process will be very similar to the Spring, so we just need the vehicle unlocked.
How long does the return process take?
The return process should only take around 25-30 minutes.
Do I need to have the Jeep prepared in any way?
If you kept your freedom panels, please make sure to have those ready for us to access.
Other than that, no need to prepare anything at all!
Do you store SoftTops for the Winter?
Yup – we can store your soft top for the winter! This service costs $49/month, and will allow us to come ready to go for next year.

Do you come to my Jeep® Wrangler?
Yes – we come to you on both ends of the removal/replacement.
How far do you travel?
We service most of MA, NH and RI, summarized below by state
MA: West to greater Worcester
NH: North to Concord
If you fall outside this area, please contact us. We are often able to accommodate if there is flexibility on the service date.
Do you rent SoftTops?
We do, but will sell out soon for the 2023 season. Make your reservation soon!
When do I book my HardTop removal, SoftTop installation reservation?
You book HardTop removal/SoftTop installation at your convenience. Keep in mind, the schedule does fill up fast, so the earlier you book, the more options you’ll have.
Note: you need to book no less than 48 hours before your desired reservation
Do you work with Ford® Broncos?
Yes – we sure do!
How long will it take to swap tops?
We recommend you block off ~60 minutes. In reality, it should only take our team ~40 minutes to swap tops.
Do I need to be on site?
Nope! We just need the car unlocked. We can process payment and communicate digitally on the day of your service.

What if my HardTop is damaged?
As part of our process, we take photos of your HardTop before removal. This just creates a layer of protection/transparency for both parties if damage claims do arise.
In the unlikely event your HardTop or vehicle is damaged in the removal, storage or return process, HardTop Hotel will address the damaged area with official Mopar touch up paint.
Where is it stored?
We have several storage partners sprinkled across our service area. So, depending on where you live, it will be stored in the nearest facility. All Tops are stored indoors in secure facilities.
What if I don't have a SoftTop?
When do I book my HardTop return reservation?
Great question. We reach out via email in late August to schedule a return date.
Note: you will need to contact us with any changes no less than 48 hours before your desired reservation
What if it rains on my scheduled removal/return date?
We have a system that works very well in the rain to ensure everything stays nice and dry. We can work in rain for all appointments except first time Bestop installs.
Do you have insurance?
Yes – we have insurance that covers fire, theft and vandalism.
